Helping Others Parent through Education

Anchor of Hope’s Parent Education program covers many topics for mothers and fathers, educating and empowering them to grow as parents and individuals. 

Each visit is led by a trained Client Advocate. Client Advocates meet with clients one-on-one and tailor each one-hour session to the clients’ specific needs. Clients are limited to one session per week. 

Some examples of topics are: 

  • Prenatal Care
  • Parenting 
  • Relationships 
  • Life Skills 
  • Fatherhood

  • H.O.P.E. is designed for pregnancy through age 3
  • H.O.PE. lessons are recognized by many of the social/case workers in our county. *With proper release, Anchor of Hope can contact your social/case worker to see what requirements you may have. Individual case requirements are determined by your social/case worker, not Anchor of Hope.
Material Support
Clients enrolled in the program can earn points actively participating in lessons. Points can be used to shop for items in the on-site Boutique. 

If the father of the baby or a support person actively participates in the lesson, additional points can be earned for each lesson.
