WHY CHOOSE ANCHOR OF HOPE INSTEAD OF PLANNED PARENTHOOD NEAR SHEBOYGAN OR MILWAUKEE, WI?

Anchor of Hope Provides FREE Pregnancy Consultations & Medical Services.

Every person facing an unplanned pregnancy needs a medical consultation to answer these questions before a final pregnancy decision can be made:

1. Am I really pregnant? According to the American Pregnancy Association, between 10-25% of known pregnancies are not viable and end naturally in miscarriage – usually within the first 13 weeks. (American Pregnancy Association. (2019). Miscarriage. Retrieved from https://americanpregnancy.org/pregnancy-complications/miscarriage/)

2. How far along am I? Gestational age determines the cost & type of abortion you could be eligible for.

3. Is this an intrauterine pregnancy? An ultrasound is important to confirm that the pregnancy is located inside the uterus. A pregnancy outside the uterus is called an ectopic pregnancy and it is life threatening. This would require immediate medical attention. In January 2023, the FDA modified the use of Mifepristone to only require that it be prescribed by a healthcare provider.

Anchor of Hope will be able to determine if your pregnancy is viable (has a heartbeat), accurately tell you how far along you are, and confirm an intrauterine pregnancy with a free ultrasound.

Anchor of Hope IS OBJECTIVE and WILL NOT JUDGE YOU!

We are a non-profit organization and are not dependent on funds generated by patient medical insurance to provide services. Because of this, we can provide truly unbiased information and one-on-one personal, compassionate care and support. We exist to help you make an informed decision based on facts about pregnancy, parenting, abortion, and adoption. Pregnancy decisions are too important to leave your experience to a rushed, clinical conversation and a waiting room where you feel like a number.

Anchor of Hope Will Engage, Equip, and Empower You – Not Pressure You.

At Anchor of Hope, we believe in educating every patient. Our goal is to equip each of our patients with enough knowledge about their choices so that they can make a fully informed decision that is right for them.

A recent study reported that nearly 74% of American women who had abortions said that they felt at least some pressure to abort. At Anchor of Hope, we are dedicated to educating our patients in a neutral, no-pressure, judgement-free environment so that you can feel safe to ask questions and gather the information you need to move forward and make your decision. We inform. YOU decide.

Abortion providers charge for their services and only profit from one of your pregnancy options. Since Anchor of Hope does not perform or refer for abortions, and all our services are provided for free – we do not profit from your decision.

At Anchor of Hope, our purpose is your health and well-being. Our focus is on YOU.

1 in 50 pregnancies can be ectopic– outside the uterus (Source: Healthline Learn more about ectopic pregnancies here as well.)

As many as 20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage; however, the number is most likely higher because most miscarriages occur early in the pregnancy. (Source: Mayo Clinic)

At-home abortion is not without risks. Many websites and sources will tell you it’s safe. In fact, one site has even said it’s as safe as Tylenol. The FDA strongly advises against buying Mifeprex online. (Source: FDA – scroll down to the red box to see their warning.)
